There is a mistake in FTM-350 user manual in Appendix
on page 39. It shows the Data Jack Pin Assignment viewed from rear panel
(down on the page) but 3 pins are confused. Replace pin 1 with 4, pin
4 with 2 and pin 2 with 1 on the picture. Make a simple null modem cable
using RXD,TXD,GND lines instead of CT-142. You can make it in your shop
easily and it works fine for flashing the FTM-350. |
